Lately I've been pondering the idea of creating character archetypes in the rune.tom file for an alternate character creation scheme similar to to the D20 system. Since the Runesword system, as well as the available library of ready-to-use Creator objects, differ substantially from the D20 system the latter can only serve as a base model - a meta-class - for inspiration. I think the advantage of having the flexibility to choose between a race/nationality-based character creation system (ie, the stock Runesword system) and a "grab and go" archetype system would be a fun option. Sometimes I feel like a nut... To that end, I'll be making notes below on the alternate charater creation flow required and class to archetype conversions. Archetype creation flow
